Improved Modes and Routines
With One UI 5.1, Routines — a function that lets you create a specific series of actions that your phone will trigger based on your activities — can now control Quick Share and touch sensitivity and alter the ringtone and the style of the font. Also, with the latest version of One UI, you can set specific wallpapers on the lock and home screens, which will change depending on your current activities. This lets you set a wallpaper for work and another for your workout.
Bixby Text Call is now available in English
One UI 5.1 also now lets you use Bixby Text Call in English. This function was added with One UI 5.0, but you could use it only if you speak Korean. In case you are not familiar with what Bixby Text Call is, this is a feature that lets you answer calls automatically. It also converts the words of the caller into text and lets you reply via a text message, which is then read aloud by an automated voice.
One UI 5.1 Samsung Notes now lets you co-edit a document during a video call on Google Meet
Samsung Notes is already one of the best note-taking apps out there, but One UI 5.1 makes it even better. Now, thanks to Samsung’s collaboration with Google, you can co-edit a document with your colleagues or friends using Samsung Notes while you are on a video call on Google Meet.

Your Galaxy Book and Galaxy phone are now even more connected
One UI 5.1 also enables you to use your Galaxy Book and smartphone as if they were one device. You can now use the mouse, keyboard, or trackpad of your Galaxy Book to do stuff like copy and paste text and drop images from your computer to your phone.
One UI 5.1 release and supported devices
At the moment, One UI 5.1 is available only on the Galaxy S23 lineup, but Samsung announced that it will come to other Galaxy phones soon.
